Adopting digital technologies to create new or improve existing business processes is an aspect that entrepreneurs have to maximise.
GrowthAfrica, represented by Growth Catalyst Eugene E., Growth Associate Jesse Baddoo, and Head of Advisory Martin Kiilu, participated in the #GhanaDigitalInnovationWeek, discussing opportunities for #economicdevelopment concerning the buzzing Ghana digital innovation.
Having had on-ground experience working with and supporting 30+ talented Ghanaian entrepreneurs, it was amazing to meet, interact, share and learn with like-minded entrepreneurs and organisations tapping into the trends and opportunities in the Ghana business ecosystem.
According to the data gathered by International Trade Administration, in the three years preceding the Covid-19 pandemic, Ghana enjoyed average annual economic growth approaching 7%, making it one of the world’s fastest-growing economies. Despite the economic slowdown brought on by the pandemic, Ghana still managed to sustain a growth rate of 0.5% in 2020, and it bounced back with a growth of 5.4% in 2021.
Thinking of the future, we can’t wait to see the economic growth #Ghana will go through in the next coming years! Viva GH.
Thank you, German Development Cooperation(giz), GIZ Ghana, and Digital transformation Center Ghana, for organizing and creating space for a much-needed conversation in the ecosystem!
