GrowthAfrica launches two new exciting startup acceleration programmes in Kenya and Uganda respectively. This makes Kampala the first destination in GrowthAfrica’s regional scaling of its efforts to grow the region’s innovate and scalable startups.
It is with great enthusiasm that the team starts to recruit for the two parallel programme cohorts set to start in March next year. Who will be in the next generation of successful entrepreneurs joining the growing network of GrowthAfrica alumni?

The entry into Uganda is a first step in a long-term strategy to provide GrowthAfrica’s tailored programming and methodology to startups across the continent in collaboration with national and international partners.
We believe that developing Africa’s vast pool of entrepreneurial talent and growing and scaling its innovative startups is key to the continent’s economic and societal progress. Uganda is our next step on this journey. As has been the case in Kenya we are not only aiming for entrepreneurs from the capital but from across the country giving a true representation of Uganda’s diversity and potential.
