GAP LAB 1 MALAWI: MEETING YOUR KEY CUSTOMER’S NEEDS FOR ENHANCED DELIVERY
Understanding who your customer is, how their pains, gains and needs are addressed by your product/service, what solutions are currently in the market and how your solution stands out is something that every entrepreneur needs to figure out.
Entrepreneurs in the Growth Accelerator Malawi cycle 2 recently went through a ‘Customer and Markets’ Gap Lab where they looked closely into their customer profiles. What came out of this exercise is some of the entrepreneurs were doing business without really considering who they serve.
A profound lightbulb moment was the admission that they do not need to serve everyone but rather improve their products and services to fit specific customers. Mr. Widdey Nsona Senior Brands Manager for Castel Malawi Limited was the key speaker at the Gap Lab and he highlighted that knowing your customer and listening to their needs is key.
Here is what Kingdom Kwapata Founder, Green Gold Finance had to say after the workshop, “The Customer and Market workshop helped us look at our products from a different lens. If we were customers would we buy our products? It was an enlightening journey.”
